Product Specialist Technical Support Front Office, Herd Navigator – within Function Feeding & Herd Management

Herd navigator is the latest innovation within dairy farming technology.

As Product Specialist Technical Support you will have the key role in supporting the Function to optimize its market position, assortment and financial return across the life cycle of the different products. In your role as Product Specialist you will work closely with the markets globally to make sure the technical capacity of the system is fulfilled. Frequent international travelling is required.

Key responsibilities and description

  • Technical support of Herd Navigator
  • Support new and existing installations
  • Trouble shooting
  • Installation and technical training
  • Effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on the system
  • Understand interpret and follow manuals, drawings and diagrams
  • Identify and follow correct documentation procedures
  • Maintain and be involved in the development of test instruments, where applicable
  • Frequent travelling is required

Knowledge and skills

Good understanding and interest of the agricultural business is preferred but not a must

Engineering degree and/or experience

Experience from a service environment of advanced technical products

Competent with electrical wiring and diagrams

Ability to identify malfunctioning of the system

Skilled/Experience in fitting/installation of electrical and mechanical components

Competent in the use of pc /computer equipment

Identifies and acts on issues and problems of the complete system

Driving license

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to interact in cross functional as well as in cross cultural teams

Analytical Skills

Fluent in English – written and spoken
